We gaze upon horizons far and wide To seek familiar moments that we shared; Yet once again we must to fate abide, From pain and sorrow we shall not be spared. The breezes plant your kisses on my face And rustling leaves your whispered lovewords lend; So, too, the stars hold you in my embrace, For none on earth could my love apprehend. The memories, though sweet, can't ease our pain For we were one and thus we shall remain. |
