Invisible Stringed Instruments
I remember a time when
my four-year-old little girl
while outside frolicking in play
posed an insightful child's pondering:
"Mama, maybe we're God's puppets,
but He forgot the strings."
She started skipping to continue her play
leaving me staring at the cerulean ceiling
and a white cumulus dreamland
completely lost in her wild imaginings.
