Not Alone
I howl with the lone wolf,
moaning with a shriek of sadness
toward the dark, no-fenced sky.
Night pulls her softened,
starlit blanket around
my chilled shoulders,
as she delivers moon's glow.
Morning rolls in
with brilliant sunbeams
from her golden bouquet,
presenting them to me
in a faint whisper,
"Just for you,
just for you."
