50-year reunion

the class of 47- it says so on the ring
50 years since graduation- haven't done a thing
we wake up every morning with little aches and pains
our legs have these little blue lines they call varicose veins
as I look around the room this is what I see
a whole bunch of old folks that all look older than me
now the rules of a reunion always permit
for a member to exaggerate and lie a little bit
so smile at your classmates- tell of your life's success
what you keep a secret- it's really been a mess
laugh with your classmates- pretend you're having fun
a 50 year reunion- you'll only get this one
